Then take you ruler and scissors to score the paper. Scoring is when you make a light cut, but not all the way through! This helps it fold better. But you have to score on the lines that will make your box sides. Fold the paper along each of your scored lines to start giving shape to the box.
Once you have your paper scored and folded, it is time to glue the sides together! Glue or tape all the edges together. I would say make sure you fold the sides in, this is where that box gets it strength and stiffness. Press firmly to adhere everything together. So the foundation of your cookie box is complete.
