Tin containers

Tin Containers were developed way back in the early 1800s. Tin: People discovered that they could melt down tin and then pound the metal into any shape. These new containers were actually a big hit with everyone because they kept all types of dry foods -- cookies, cereals - fresh and safe (locked up out of reach nursing dog anyone?).

And this was like someone dropped a clay pot or got it wet in the water. And the metal tin containers food unsealed inside could rot or develop pests, which makes it not-fit-for-consumption. But this is not the case when it comes to tin containers. Light, carry easily well sealed so no bugs can get in and spoil the food.

Why not plastic? - Tin containers vs. Plastic

These days, we frequently use plastic containers to save leftovers or help the kiddos take their lunch from home. While some plastics are kosher for occasional use (keep reading), using them more liberally can result in dangerous health issues down the line. Some chemicals can leach out of plastic containers into the food. Those tianhui chemicals are very dangerous for the body and will cause a lot of problems along with time if consumed.

While, on the other hand tin containers have many advantages. They are recyclable and completely safe for food packaging as well. Returnable use, i. e. when done they return to raw materials for fresh goods as an alternative of junk. This tin containers with lids is far better for the environment. Moreover, tin containers are generally more sturdy and long-lasting compared to the former plastic ones - thus feasible for re-use.
